For the past two weeks, local advocates across the country have spoken out to urge their members of Congress to invest in America rather than throwing billions of tax dollars away in Iraq.  From Illinois to New Jersey; from Connecticut to Michigan, communities have praised the increased investment in child care, Head Start and job training contained in the Labor-HHS-Education appropriations bill.
